Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 March 2026

Falhoum Tea ('we', 'us', or 'the Company') is committed to protecting your privacy and to full transparency about how your personal data is collected and used. This policy explains our practices when you visit falhoomtea.com or contact us through our contact form.

1. Information We Collect

Information you voluntarily provide: When submitting our contact form, we collect your first and last name, phone number (including country code), email address, company name, and the subject of your enquiry.

Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type and operating system, pages visited, and session duration. This data is used to improve site performance and analyse usage.

Tracking and advertising data: We use third-party tracking technologies as described in Section 4 below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to your enquiries and distribution requests, and to communicate with you about our products and commercial offers.

We use visit and tracking data to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok, with the aim of improving ad targeting and reducing cost.

We will not use your data for direct marketing purposes unless you have given us your explicit consent.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Legitimate interests: We process visit and advertising tracking data based on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the performance of advertising campaigns.

Contract performance: We process contact form data to respond to distribution requests and commercial enquiries.

Consent: Where required by applicable law, we will seek your explicit consent before processing your data.

4. Tracking and Advertising Technologies

Meta Pixel (ID: 1852586145580297): We use the Meta Pixel to measure ad conversions on Facebook and Instagram. This pixel sends data about your activity on the site to Meta.

Meta Conversions API: In addition to the pixel, we send conversion events (such as contact form submissions) directly from our servers to Meta. Personal identifiers (email, phone number, name) are hashed using SHA-256 before transmission — Meta receives only a one-way encrypted version that cannot be reversed.

TikTok Pixel (ID: D6J2PNJC77U1H2BB7LL0): We use the TikTok Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on TikTok.

TikTok Events API: We also send conversion events directly from our servers to TikTok. Personal identifiers (email and phone number) are hashed using SHA-256 before transmission.

Google Analytics 4: We use Google Analytics to analyse site usage patterns and measure content performance.

These technologies work together to ensure accurate conversion measurement and avoid duplication — the pixel and the server-side API share a unique Event ID for each conversion.

5. Cookies and Tracking Data

Our website uses the following cookies:

_fbp: A cookie set by the Meta Pixel to identify the browser for advertising purposes.

_fbc: A cookie set by the Meta Pixel to track clicks originating from Facebook ads.

ttclid: TikTok's click identifier, stored in a cookie for 7 days when visitors arrive from TikTok ads, used to improve advertising attribution accuracy.

Google Analytics cookies: Used to distinguish visitors and track browsing sessions.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect some site functionality.

6. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell or trade your personal data.

We share SHA-256 hashed conversion data with: Meta Platforms, Inc. for advertising measurement purposes; TikTok Inc. for advertising measurement purposes; and Google LLC for analytics purposes.

We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the website (such as hosting services), under strict confidentiality agreements.

7. Data Retention

We retain contact form data for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiries or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

8. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to: access the personal data we hold about you, request its correction or update, request its deletion, and object to or restrict its processing.

You may also opt out of personalised Meta advertising through Facebook's ad settings, and opt out of TikTok advertising through the app's privacy settings.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the contact form or via WhatsApp at +967711188350.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data. All personal identifiers sent to advertising platforms are hashed using SHA-256 before transmission, ensuring that no readable personal data is sent to third parties.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated 'Last updated' date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
